This past year I have been working remotely and have enjoyed some of the benefits. It has been interesting and working from home may not be for everyone but I am appreciating the differences that do make working much easier.
Some companies may put in new practices to allow employees to work from home more often, I would definitely be interested in this considering that most of my work can be done remotely.
Working from home has given me these benefits:
- There is practically no commute time and no travelling during rush hour
- There is access to all of your belongings
- Dressing more casually than usual, especially when no meetings are planned
- There is more time to spend with the family
- It is much easier to be able to take a break when needed
- It is great to be able to work from home when fasting during Ramadan
